Sound-track: Final Chorus 3.23 mins

Scenic Cantata for mimes, dancers, voices and orchestra                 52 minutes

Libretto compiled by the composer from children’s poems,

Nursery rhymes, counting verses and games.

Sally, Sally, water,

Come sprinkle in your pan.

For down in the meadow,

There lies a young man.

Rise Sally, rise,

And don’t you look so sad.

You shall choose a husband,

Good or bad.

Choose you East or choose you West,

Choose the one you love the best.

Now you’ve married one, your joy,

First a girl and then a boy.

Seven years now and seven to come,

Take her and kiss her and send her off home.
